Associating Badges and Cards
Badge designs or layouts are created using the Badge
Layout Utility [on the Configuration menu]. Once a
badge design is created, it can be associated with a
card.
When the card is issued to a card holder, the card
holder's information is merged with the badge
design, resulting in an individual card.
Using a badge printer, these badges can be printed to
plain cards or used to create a photo ID. They can
also be printed on access-control cards and/or have
magnetic stripes encoded, resulting in an ID card that
is also an access card.
