220 WIN-PAK User Guide
Abstract Device Definitions
Abstract Devices (ADVs) are created through the
Device Map. Each device configuration window has
an ADV section in the upper right corner.
Clicking Add to create or Edit to modify will open
the Abstract Device record configuration window.
The Show box allows the ADV to be viewed. The
general format for all ADVs is the same. However,
the available Actions vary, depending on the type of
device with which the ADV is associated.
